20 Masterwork Paintings at the Detroit Institute of Arts

Back in August we encouraged our readers in Wayne, Oakland and Macomb Counties to “Vote Yes on the Detroit Institute of Arts Millage!“. Today we reap the benefits of the proposal’s passage in all three counties with near-weekly free visits to the unquestioned best fine art museum in all of Southeast Michigan. Having now traipsed through the numerous galleries therein, time and time again, we find ourselves desiring to illustrate here, in the pages of I Love Detroit Michigan, the stunning breadth of the Institute’s holdings. We hope you’ll enjoy this, our first of many future posts focusing on the artworks within, upon and nearby this most priceless repository of local, national and international culture. ~I♥DM
