Detroit Street Art – 35 New Works – Autumn 2015

Detroit Street Art Fall 2015 14 3Every so often we come across quality Detroit street art that defies convenient geographical categorization and we are forced to throw ’em into a clearinghouse post such as this. Entries #1 through #3 are stand-alone outliers, while the rest of the works showcased herein are located very loosely within four general areas: Corktown and the West Side Industrial neighborhoods, between 2500 and 8000 Michigan Avenue, all over Southwest Detroit and lastly, on Russell Street between Forest Avenue and Trombly. We photographed nearly all of these works between 2014 and 2015, and suspect a few may be painted over already. We’d love to hear from any knowledgeable locals who can help us identify those artists we have not. ~I♥DM
