‘Malt’, ‘Tead’ & ‘Monster Steve’ Paint in the Grand River Creative Corridor – Summer 2015

Malt Tead Monster Steve 4731 10Collabs were big in 2015. This epic piece, created by Detroit spray-painters ‘Malt’, ‘Tead’ & ‘Monster Steve’ on the exterior walls of 4731 Gallery in the Grand River Creative Corridor over last Summer, is a perfect example. In addition to photographing this lovely very shortly after its completion in late August, we were also fortunate enough to harvest a few snappies in mid-July while the paint was still wet on much of its meatiest subject matter. The first five images in our album below come from our July 10th shoot. The remainder were shot on September 1st in slightly less ideal light. See a handful of additional noteworthy collaborations featuring the same three gifted locals (and others) in our post entitled “60 New Works of Detroit Street Art in and around Lincoln Street Art Park“, published last May. ~I♥DM
