New Detroit Graffiti at 2141 Livernois Ave

2141 Livernois Graffiti #3Find this sweet new group of Detroit graffiti on the walls of the now defunct Detroit Motor Transportation Garage at 2141 Livernois Avenue, just north of West Vernor Highway on the southwest side of town. Good luck getting an angle as good as ours. Click these links to see more work by “Chaos”, who is rapidly becoming one of Detroit’s most visible signatories. The photo at the bottom of this post is a vintage work of Detroit graffiti that we shot back in 2008. We’re guessing the portrait of the Native American, painted by “Sintex” , is intended to be Sitting Bull, but we couldn’t tell you for sure. It was formerly located on the west wall of the “Makki Gas & Shop” Citgo station at 2200 Livernois Avenue, but has since been painted over. ~I♥DM
