New Detroit Tigers Baseball Themed Graffiti by “Sintex” in Capitol Park

Sintex Tigers Graffiti 5Find this stellar new group of Detroit Tigers Baseball-themed graffiti by “Sintex” in Capitol Park, on the northwest corner of State and Shelby Street, in the heart of downtown. How fitting that we discovered these beauties on the very day we came downtown to enjoy our first Tigers game of the season, a dominating 10-0 interleague victory over the Atlanta Braves, featuring an amazing new Tigers’ single-game record of 17 strikeouts for winning pitcher Anibal Sanchez! Coincidence?!? Probably. One sweet but slightly incongruous piece by an artist whose letterforms we recognize but name we don’t know fills out this spectacular new addition to the block’s already engrossing cityscape. ~I♥DM
